Sweet Changes are Coming to Divino!

Dear Divino Customers,

It's been four years since Divino Café opened our doors. Since that time we have gone through many changes. Initially, when my brother Jim and I were planning Divino's opening in September 2007, our passion and vision was to offer the highest grade, premium, authentic artisan Gelato to you, our customers. Our goal was to import the Gelato manufacturing equipment, display cases, ingredients, and the knowledge to make the best hand-crafted authentic artisan Gelato, right down to the cups and spoons we serve our Gelato in, direct from its origin, Italy!

While planning our business to launch our wholesale Gelato operations, we also planned the opening of Divino Café which many of you have come to know over the years. Divino's wholesale business, which is licensed and inspected by the Illinois Department of Public Health, allows Divino to produce premium Gelato products and distribute them to other independently and franchised owned restaurants, pizzerias, stores, fine dining establishments, caterers, resorts, convention centers, and food service operations.

Divino Café was envisioned to offer our authentic artisan Gelato made on premise along with our "homemade Italian food at our family friendly prices." Our priority is Gelato. So effective July 30th Divino Café kitchen operations will be closed to allow us to focus our full attention and resources to our growing Gelato business. This has been a difficult decision for all of us at Divino, we have come to love serving you our customers with full service homemade Italian food. But we are so focused and driven on doing what we do best, making Gelato, that we felt it best to devote all our resources toward our passion, Divino Gelato.

Many of you have come to enjoy and experience our Gelato after dining at Divino. We hope you come in and see the changes at our Grand Reopening planned for August 5th which will bring our Gelato and newly evolving Gelato desserts to a higher level.

We look forward to your continued patronage and the sharing of our Gelato passion. We believe you will love the new changes that are being put into place.

As always we appreciate your input and suggestions. Your ideas and request are very welcome to assure the new changes are made with the true Gelato lover in mind.
